Not sure if was late in the day or just a random off night. Lack of available ales with only 1 out of 5 pumps online hence 3 stars as this is normally a good pub to get a decent ale.
Great place great staff beers is always good and everyone says hello even on a Saturday night
My daughter & 4 year old grandson & myself had looked at the menu outside & it said jacket potatoes/sandwiches/baguettes. Lovely we thought! Went in & spoke 2 bartender & he showed me a lunch menu. I asked about the other items & he said no we couldn't have those So unfortunately we left. Very disappointed. Margaret webb
Brilliant pub to go to, staff and regulars very friendly, food excellent, lunch time and evening, prices good. You will enjoy the atmosphere and want to return.
The best roast I've had for many a year. The food and service was out of this world. The waiter recommended roast of the day. All three of us went with his recommendation and had Roast Turkey with every trimming you could imagine. The roast potatoes were the nicest I've EVER had. Can't wait to return. Highly recommended.
