Good pub food and reasonably priced. Homemade pies are great. Very busy for a weekday evening, but service was great, the food arrived quickly, was hot and tasty and the atmosphere was good. Big car park and convenient meeting place - 10 mins to M4 J19.

From the outside this looks like a lovely old coaching Inn but inside it's a 1970's time warp. Rooms (at least mine) was tired and needed a lot of TLC. Old grey mould on ceiling and around windows needed fixing. The bathroom was great though. Food wise, very average. Full English breakfast was the only meal I really enjoyed. Even though it wasn't expensive I won't be coming back.
Lovely pub with very friendly and attentive staff. The menu choice is wide with good variety. Although a busy evening our food was served within minutes, very impressive. Will definitely return.
Lovely place. I did over shoot coming from the M4 but lovely meeting place. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiter/ manager there. We both had the most amazing chicken and bacon sandwiches. Mayonnaise was so tasty. Bread fresh. Bacon smokey. Chicken succulent. We had food envy of the fish and chips that were coming out from the kitchen too.
