Arriving in Chipping Sodbury on Friday evening to attend an unexpected concert, I came across The Portcullis and was planning to book 2 rooms, arrived at reception and found no staff available, I decided to try the bar area to buy a round of drinks, 2 members of staff were stood behind the bar, talking about personal problems in front of the customers the female barmaid seemed to be able to only use the f word repeatedly and had no interest in acknowledging any customers, having my 6 year old daughter with me and not wanting her to hear endless swearing I timed my stand at the bar to 8 minutes before I walked away, would strongly recommend avoiding at alleged costs
