We went yesterday (11th January 2019) and were most impressed. Lovely surroundings and super-friendly staff, this deserves to be the leading restaurant in this area. The cooking compares favourably with the best in Bristol. We both had the the soup which was tomato and absolutely delicious. My wife had the pork belly which she said was very tender and tasty. I had a rib eye steak which was one of the best tasting steaks I have ever eaten. Both main dishes came with fresh seasonable vegetables. Anna finished with coffee but I had the panacotta with small mouth watering donuts. Considering how much work had gone into the preparation of each dish and we had had wine throughout the meal, the bill was very reasonable. We shall certainly go again.
An absolute gem of a place. One of the nicest roasts in Bristol and a great menu. Would definitely recommend the duck dishes and a beautiful setting.
Gorgeous place. Went in December and was limited to a Christmas menu, so going to return in the summer to sample more options.
Cannot praise Karen & her staff enough! Food was fabulous & the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Highly recommended & we will definitely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.
